Pain...

I hate bending down. It hurts. Bad. Of course, so does standing up. And tying my shoes. Blinking seems to be pain-free, though, as long as I do it slowly. The new workout plan seems to be going well. Very effective. Details to come on the plan after I have Air-Longhorn's $20 in hand.

After being called "Neil" by my loving significant other (Biggest Loser reference), I have to come clean about my last post. I didn't really eat Taco Bueno for lunch, I just had a soft taco someone gave me, and I didn't eat pizza for dinner, I just had a small sliver off of the kids pizza.
So far the diet has been going perfectly, and the workouts have been very punishing. So for his sake, I hope Air-Horn has already started starving himself, because it is going to take a big number to win this one. I'm not quite ready to start running yet, but when that gets going, the weight should start falling off in big chunks (how is that for a visual??).

On the non-trash talk side, I'm pretty pumped up about going to watch Guthrie stomp up on Bixby tomorrow night with Aaron. Should be good times.

Training

I'm ready for the training to start. And the diet. Taco Bueno for lunch today and frozen pizza for dinner. So I am carb loading to get ready for the work to come. No, really. The training will be starting any day now.....

It's Time

Time to get going again. For some reason, the motivation has returned. Maybe it is just that time of year, maybe it is that I am tired of feeling like crap all of the time, and maybe it is the $20 Aaron will be owing me after January 1st. Nothing better than taking money off of sad little Longhorn fans! That's right, I said it. I will be winning a nice, crisp $20 bill off of you and your burnt orange boxers!!! Still can't believe you tried to make me root for Texas....

So there it is. Starting weight - 252.2. Ouch. If you could only lose it as fast as you can gain it. That's OK, though. I have a plan. I think it is a good plan, it is just a matter of executing properly. I know what needs to be done, so it is time to put all of the knowledge I have gained over the years to good use. It will sure feel good to run while in great shape, something I haven't done since high school.

Time. Time to get serious. Time to get focused. Time to get stronger. Time to get faster. Time to show everyone who has never known me to be athletic what I can do. Time to get that twenty bucks. Hope you are ready Air-run.......
